This game is not as complicated as you think.

Nor as lengthy as you're used to.

But for the truly impatient, there's a walkthru:

Thorin

Hmm...  Not as entertaining as this other game I'm currently addicted to <looks at where most of the new threads have been spawning this past week or so>
Prayin' for a 20!

gcc thorin.c -pedantic -o Thorin
compile successful

And yes, I did play the game, and yes, the ending credits song was somewhat entertaining.

You could have just said: "You Have To Burn The Rope"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Have_To_Burn_The_Rope

But, unlike the game itself, that would have been too direct I guess

6 minute walkthrough for a game that takes a whole 30 seconds to figure out how to play AND win?

Well, I gotta admit the boss isn't nearly as hard to beat as some other games. (3.4 BILLION for a high score in a Shoot Em Up? Wow...)

Sorry, the portal credits are much better.

In a way, sure -- I mean it basically tells the story of the game you just played.

I just found the one in OP to be funny in a "meta" way, it's like exaggerating to excess a simple game, pretty much parodying what gamers "expect" from a game. A fourth wall type of humour, hence me saying "better".

On the subject of "simple" games, another "lunchtime funtime" I found as a result of the above:

The 2 things I really like about this game: #1 very simple on first appearance, but due to the way the controls work it actually has complex possibilities in the puzzles/levels. #2 that guy's mellow voice, it's like having a simple childhood storybook read to you (even when you die!)

sometimes extremely simple game mechanics result in extremely fun gameplay:
