What are your cool tunes for beating the summer heat?

For me nothing beats the heat like some Blues or Jazz
-John Lee Hooker
-Stevie Ray Vaughn
-Grant Green

Of course more than a few moldy oldies like Roy Orbison and Bobby Vinton as well...

So what're your picks?
By Grabthar's Hammer

Melbosa

LMFAO - Love those guys
Snoop Dog - Summer says mellow... who is more mellow in music?
Katy Perry - Hot out, hot singer
Lonely Island - cause you gotta laugh
Toby Keith - Red Sippy Cup is so summer

Some honourable mentions:
Tom Cochran
John Mellencamp
Love Inc
Ace of Base
Sometimes I Think Before I Type... Sometimes!

I'm not sure why, but CCR came to mind first when I was thinking about it. Not sure that makes sense. If we're talking the bayou, its not exactly cool down there.
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

What magical music technology are YOU employing to reduce the speed of motion of molecules simply by vibrating the air at certain frequencies?  :o

My current playlist

The Ray Noble Orchestra - jazz / British dance music
Robert & Johnny - doo wop
The Cadillacs - rock & roll / doo wop
Del Shannon - rock & roll

I also put on some Bobby Vinton but it was because I was looking for a Del Shannon cover and wasn't sure which album it was on.

:)

Edit: Oop, forgot that I had The Crew Cuts and The Robins in this playlist too
