I hadn't heard of this now I am wondering why.... It looks VERY interesting. Stick with it, it starts out slow.

I skimmed Wikipedia re. the novel, there's 6 different stories and timelines covered (luckily Wikipedia doesn't say much re. plot details).

But in a word: AMBITIOUS.


Based on the weight of the big-name cast, I would expect the script is at least very strong. Definitely want a good night's rest before viewing, though, so it doesn't all blur together in brain fog.

And the visuals seem on the scale of Inception before it came out -- not knowing the context of many of the cool-looking stuff makes it seem even more epic... but if the plot or editing is poor then it'll be yet another "what might have been" big-budget flops.

I hope it gets people talking, after, and thinking, long after. Hopefully "Hollywood" is gonna continue giving something to digest to a maturing audience that is seeking more than just simple popcorn.
