an intelligent, calm 1997 interview with a computer "guru" about the future of PCs, internet, business etc.
(this was when the Web was just STARTING to become important to Business and Mainstream Culture -- and in this case both the interviewer and interviewee seemed to be very level-headed, instead of feeling pressured to make ridiculously ambitious or grand or even overly negative or specific "predictions")

she was the subject of the interview --> Esther Dyson (daughter of the Dyson Sphere guy)



personally, I found fascinating/prescient the way she pointed out that customers were now going to be able to gain "control" of, and strongly impact, PR and company opinions etc. that was previously the domain of the companies themselves... (madam, you had no idea!)



he was the interviewer --> Allan Gregg (WOW there's an entire section of the TVOntario website devoted to his CharlieRose-esque interview program , episodes spanning from 1995 ... continuously thru to the present (!) ) -- and the YT channel is nice enough to be divided into topical playlists)
