one Tweet describes it thusly: "Pinterest having sex with Facebook, while cheating on StumbleUpon. This is the result."

"Pinterest is for collecting photos you find on the Web. Clipboard, which debuted in May, is for collecting the whole darn Web. Its unique technology lets you cut out chunks of Web pages, then save them permanently on Pinterest-like boards that can be public or private. The newest features include shared boards -- which more than one member can contribute to -- and an iPhone app."

kinda cool web app imo -- they keep adding tons of useful features; I'd put this in the rare collection of "stuff I personally might actually find myself using" (one comment mentioned http://www.instapaper.com/ and I think this is far better because of the flexbility in what/how you do the "clipping" -- instead of just entire pages)

That reminds me of Microsoft OneNote

Personally I download a lot of stuff I'll use later, though it's not really all that organized. I've also gotten in the habit of cleaning bookmarks regularly, it forces me to actually use bookmarks.
